Claygate Cricket Club Tour to Tobago 2011
February 2011
We plan to revisit the wonderful island of Tobago for the next Claygate Overseas Cricket Tour

The highlights are:
· 14 nights in Tobago staying at The Crown Point Beach Hotel ( www.Crownpointbeachhotel.com )
· Flights with either BA or Virgin and transfer to/from Claygate & Gatwick.
· Transfers to Cricket matches, lunch and some after match beers.
· Matches in various parts of the 25 mile long island.
· Day out in boat to beach BBQ and bathing in the famous 'nylon pool'. (unmissable)
· Dates to be confirmed but are likely to be 2nd February 2011 returning to Gatwick early morning 17th February 2011

Cost:
We are currently unable to give a firm price for the Tour due to the fact that airlines and the hotel cannot foresee their prices and the exchange rate may vary from today, but an indicative price will be between £1100 and £1200. We believe we will be able to confirm the costs in March/April 2010. The current cost is based on 2/3 sharing although we will be able to give different prices for families with children.
For those of you that are unaware Claygate toured to Tobago in 2003, staying in the same hotel as is proposed for 2011. The hotel, although within a ten minute walk (yes walk!!) from the airport is quiet and rooms have kitchenettes with a fridge for some self catering, and are in in attractive gardens leading to one of the best golden sandy beaches on the Island. A poolside bar was a popular meeting place with beers (2009 prices) at £1.50p. The Queen stayed here in the 1960's!

What to do Next:
To be able to gauge the numbers of tourists (And players!), we request you send a cheque for £50 per person to reserve a place. (Fully refundable until March 2010.) Once prices are confirmed in March we will require a further £250.With the balance payable in November 2010..
Initial deposits of £50 should be sent to Andy Spector, 15,The Island, Thames Ditton.KT7 0SH. 07956233774. (enclose your name, address, and phone no please.)
Cheques (made payable to Claygate Cricket Club) must be received by 23rd October 09, (Dinner Dance day).
