Both schools partnered with Claygate CC and who were entered in the Elmbridge Schools 2017 Kwik Cricket League came away with great credit yesterday at the finals day run at Walton Cricket Club.

With eight local primary school fighting it out over a tournament spread over two months competition was tough!

However Claygate Primary won the day beating St James School Weybrige in the final.
Several of the players from the team of eight were from Claygate CC’s unbeaten U11’s side.
Esher Church School came third. They have been coached by Nigel Abbott and Steve Wells as part of our outreach programme to local schools.
