Around 120 people turned out on Sunday (1st September) for our end-of -season Junior Awards and BBQ at the Clubhouse. It followed two of the ever-popular Junior Challenge Matches played in the afternoon! (We shan’t say who won!)
Club President Nigel Abbott thanked everybody for the great turnout and praised all of those who have been involved in running, playing and supporting Claygate’s highly successful junior teams over the last few years. (Thanks again Pam!) which has now built up to a section that is running eight sides.
One particularly success this year has been the launch of the Claygate Diamonds – the girls side run by Mike Cross and Nick Madley who have played several competitive games against local clubs this year.
