It’s shaping up to be a big week for Claygate Cricket Club as we kick off an exciting summer of cricket with fresh challenges and plenty of action across all age groups.

We’re thrilled to announce our entry into two new competitions this season, bringing even more competitive cricket to the club and offering fresh opportunities for our players to shine.

The action starts this evening as we begin our Surrey Slam campaign with a home fixture against Whiteley Village. A thrilling T20-style contest, hopefully with plenty of runs!

On Saturday, we make our debut in The Surrey Championship with our 1st XI hosting Ripley at the Rec. This marks an important milestone in the club’s growth and we’re looking forward to testing ourselves in this prestigious league.

Our Sunday XI are also in action this weekend, making the return trip to face Whiteley Village.

It’s not just the seniors getting into the swing of things—our juniors are set for a busy weekend too:

* *U12s* host Whiteley Village
* *U11s* travel to Staines
* *U13s* take on Spelthorne at home
* *U15s* head to Beddington

With matches at all levels and plenty of home games to enjoy, it’s a fantastic week to get down to the Rec and support the teams. Here's to a successful and sunny start to the summer at Claygate CC!
