Please email us on info@claygatecricket.co.uk if you have any questions or need further information.

Our Junior Section
Junior players are at the heart of the club and our cricket offerings start from 5 years old and upwards for both boys and girls.

All Stars & Dynamos - Ages 5 to 11 years old
We offer the ECB All Stars (aged 5 to 8) and Dynamos (aged 8 to 11) programmes for children who are new to cricket and it’s a fun and enjoyable introduction to the game.
Further details on these programmes can be found via this link.
We recommend that children with prior cricketing experience rather look to join the age group sides instead of Dynamos.

Age Group Cricket - U10+
Age groups sides run from under 10 upwards and the sides play hard and softball formats in the younger age groups.

Joining the Club
You will need to register yourself and your child/ren on Pitchero, prior to training, by clicking JOIN.
We have a number of Pitchero manuals which will guide you through the steps.

We will check your details and approve your application. We may need to ask for some further information on medical details and emergency contact information if this hasn't been captured upfront during the registration process.

Team managers use Pitchero to request availability and publish team selections.

Kit Requirements
The minimum kit requirements for indoor and outdoor net sessions are an abdominal guard and the correct sports underwear to hold it in place.

For hardball cricket, it is mandatory for players under 18 years of age to wear a helmet when training or playing in matches.
Players should also ideally have a bat, gloves and pads for hardball cricket.
Club kit may be available on prior arrangement with the relevant junior manager.

Coaching & Training

All players must be registered via our website before they will be able to attend training.

We hold indoor and outdoor nets during the season.

Indoor nets will be held at Claremont Fan Court School from Tuesday the 9th of January until Easter. Outdoor nets will run after Easter on the Claygate recreation ground.
